1) Anyone can place an intent to bid during the intent to bid period. If more than one person places an intent to bid on the same lot, there will be a bid off held starting at 2:00 PM on the 24th. The highest bidder will then own that lot. 2) All animals are entered in the Spring Dairy Expo @ Columbus, OH. Any junior member who purchases an animal during the intent to bid/bid-off period can have their animal shown at the SDE. We will tie them in our string @ no extra cost. 3) Once prices have been reduced to minimum start bids anything receiving a bid will sell. Bidding will be in standard auction format held online @ www.cowbuyer.com between the 24th & 26th. 4) Purchased animals may remain at the farm up to 3 weeks from the conclusion of the sale @ no extra cost. (April 16). Thereafter, Southern-Hills is entitled to $3/day board. We will do what we can to assist in trucking needs. 5) All purchases must be paid in full before possession is taken. 6) “Buyer satisfaction” guaranteed on all lots. Careful inspection should be made before possession is taken. Once a buyer takes possession it is deemed they are satisfied. Several of the fresh cows will just be a few days fresh prior to the sale. As stated in item 4, they can remain at the farm for up to 3 weeks to ensure they are off to a good start. • A 3% convenience fee will be charged for all credit card payments. • Confirmation of payment will be sent to consignor and purchaser within one week of sale. • No embryos will ship prior to a full payment being received. • Buyer is responsible for the coordination, cost, and liability of shipment. • All embryos are for domestic shipment only unless otherwise specified. • Final bid must meet the seller’s reserve price to be considered sold.
