Once you purchase an animal you have the following options:
1. Custom Harvest
You pay the full bid price
Select your processor from the pre-defined list
Livestock Committee delivers animal to the processor
Contact the processor on Monday with cutting and packaging instructions
You are responsible for picking up your meat and paying all processing costs.
Enjoy your home raised meat
2. Buyback
Sale Committee will buy back the animal at market (floor) price
You pay only the difference between the market price and the full bid price (your bid)
No other arrangements are necessary

4-H Market Steer-Exhibitor is Katelyn who has been in 4-H for 10 years and this is her last year.
She recently graduated from high school. She will be showing/selling a steer,pig and a lamb. She will be using the funds she receives from selling them for college in the fall. She will be attending Otero junior college majoring in Animal Sciences. Thank you all for your continous support of the Custer County Fair.
